The complexity of the definitions of both “perfect” and “country” are what inspired the song. Everyone has a different “perfect fit” or definition of their “perfect person.” A similar comparison is that everyone has a different definition of “country.” My song “Country Like You” is about a guy who meets his perfect person; a woman who has all the character traits of his definition of “country.” What more can you ask for?

We wanted to make this song sexy and raw. This song should make you want to hold your sweetheart a little closer. Maybe on a back country road, slow dancing under some midnight stars, or down by the lake.
